Person Centred & Cognitive Behavioural Counsellor and Coach working UK wide online and in person: Plymouth, Plympton, Plymstock, Saltash, Devon
An Integrated Approach to Counselling and Coaching
I offer a unique, intuitive blend of counselling and coaching—tailored specifically to you. Drawing from therapeutic models such as Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Hypnotherapy, I create a bespoke approach, including psych-education, that meets your individual needs, supports your growth, and helps you to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
By combining the reflective, supportive nature of counselling (being with) and the action-oriented focus of coaching (doing with), we’ll cultivate both deep personal insight and practical progress.
Our work together will focus on the 'whole you':
Past You – understanding how your past experiences and patterns may still be affecting your present.
Future You – identifying your goals, values, and hopes for the life you want to build.
Present You – discovering the choices, strengths, and insights you can use right now to create change and move forward.
I also integrate somatic work using relaxation techniques, offering a deeply holistic path to healing by combining body-based awareness with focused inner attention. This approach is grounded in neuroscience and trauma-informed care, recognising that unresolved stress, trauma, and emotional patterns are often stored in the body - particularly within the nervous system. When these patterns remain unprocessed, they can shape how we think, feel, and react, often outside of conscious awareness.
Relaxation techniques - such as guided breathing, progressive muscle relaxation or visualisations - support this work by helping to calm the nervous system and shift the brain into a more regulated state. This creates the internal safety and space needed to access inner sensations, stored memories, and underlying beliefs.
From here, somatic awareness can help you tune into your body’s signals - such as tension, numbness, or movement impulses - so you can begin to process and release what has been held from your past.
Over time, this integrative process fosters emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, and lasting change from the inside out. It helps you live more fully in the present, rather than unconsciously reacting from past experiences.

Making the decision to reach out to a counsellor can feel scary and confusing. Yet, in my experience, many people struggle alone with mental health challenges, wellbeing concerns, personal crises, or relationship difficulties far longer than is healthy.
While friends can often offer comfort and support, sometimes that help only takes you so far. Recognising that you need something more - and being willing to seek it - is actually a powerful and important first step toward healing, growth, and reducing anxiety.
You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Seeking support is a courageous act of self-care and strength. Together, we can create a safe space where you feel heard and understood. I will guide you to live your life in the present on a path of your choosing.
Whether you’re looking to manage anxiety, work through difficult emotions, or simply find greater balance in your life, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
When you’re ready, I’m ready to listen.
